OVHcloud founder Octave Klaba said on LinkedIn that development continues on the company's new console, "which will soon go into production," and described its AI assistant and a coming mobile app.
The AI assistant
The assistant is "enriched several times a day with new capabilities," in three areas:
- Commercial questions.
- Technical advice.
- Incidents.
Klaba says it is "not yet 10/10 but definitely on the right track." The goal is for it to handle the more than 5,500 operations the console allows.
The mobile app
OVHcloud customers will also get a mobile app, which Klaba says will cover:
- Contact and KYC: managing the contact and identity verifications, using NFC and the phone's camera.
- MFA: multi-factor authentication, to strengthen the console's security.
- Billing: invoices, renewals and payment methods, so customers do not miss a card expiry.
- Support: the relationship with support, including authenticated WebRTC calls to secure the phone call.
Klaba gave no launch date for the console in production or for the app. The post follows his comments on OVHcloud's results and its own LLM, and his statements are the only source here.
